All student work represents mastery of state learning standards. Late work is accepted with a slight point-loss penalty. Failing work may be redone or corrected in order to improve the failing score to a score of 70.
Students are encouraged to makeup missing work or to correct/redo failed assignments during the school's regularly scheduled intervention periods (RAMP). They are also encouraged to request individual tutorial with the teacher at that time.
Failing grades and zeroes reflect a marked lack of initiative on the part of the student.
