On Monday, November 13th, at 6:30pm, there will be a presentation for parents concerning some situations their kids are facing at school and outside of school. The topics of discussion will be around drug trends, common hiding places, clothing and the effects of different types of drugs on the brain. The types of drugs discussed will include alcohol, marijuana (including the new generation products), synthetics, prescriptions, and heroin, among others.
This will take place on the campus of Oakland Middle School in their auditorium from 6:30-8pm. No children or students are allowed entrance due to the nature of the content discussed. This presentation is being given by Bradford Health Services and hosted & sponsored by Daniel McKee Alternative School.
