DMK School Counselor

Welcome to Daniel McKee Alternative School. I am Heather Bastos (Mrs. B), your DMK school counselor. My goal is to provide support and encouragement to all students, helping them address their social and emotional development, academic success and career and/or college readiness. 

 

As your DMK school counselor, I aim to work in collaboration with students, families, staff, community and other stakeholders to empower and enable every student to focus on lifelong education that extends beyond the classroom, into the community and the world at large. My goal, in addition to fostering relationships and advocacy for students, is to equip students with relevant skills needed to identify and achieve their individual goals.
