Nicole Stirbens Glenn Suggs
Principal Assistant Principal
 
Nicole Stirbens, originally from Ohio, has lived in Tennessee for the last twenty-four years.  She received her Bachelor of Education in Elementary and Special Education from Youngstown State University, her Master of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University, and her Specialist in Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Union University.  Her educational career includes over twenty-four years of experience.
 
Mrs. Stirbens' Experience in the classroom includes elementary general and special education as well as middle school gifted, Inclusion, science, and STEM education.  She also has fourteen years of middle and high school administrative experience. Four of those years were spent as Daniel -McKee's Assistant Principal before becoming principal. Her educational background also includes the following roles:  PLC Lead, Rutherford Works Ambassador, Testing Team and Coordinator, School Leadership, Yearbook Advisor, Teacher Mentor, Dean of Students Department Chair, Crisis Team, and RTIB2 Team.
 
Mrs. Stirbens is married with three children who are all part or alumni of the Rutherford County School System.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, traveling and being with her family and friends.  Mrs. Stirbens is honored to be a part of Daniel-McKee!

Glenn Suggs, originally from Northeast Mississippi, has lived in Middle Tennessee for the past twenty-five years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University before obtaining his Master of Educational Leadership from Bethel University. He is currently pursuing his Educational Specialist degree from University of the Cumberlands.

 

Mr. Suggs began his teaching career in 2007 at Franklin County High School. He then taught across multiple schools in Rutherford County, including 2 years at Oakland High School and spending more than ten years between LaVergne Middle School and LaVergne High School. Most recently, he taught World History and coached football at his alma mater Riverdale High School (Go Warriors!). He has more than a decade of experience as a dean and also has experience with truancy, testing, and athletics.

 

Mr. Suggs is married with the two best kids you’ve ever met! He LOVES college football and basketball and is a huge Tennessee Vols fan. He enjoys being with his family, attending church at Experience Community Church, and anything Marvel-related. He also has a “Sheepadoodle” puppy named Louie who isn’t very smart but makes up for it with cuteness.
